By accessing or using GridPapers at gridpapers.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the service.

2. Description of Service

GridPapers is a free, browser-based tool that allows users to design and download custom grid paper templates in PNG and PDF format. The service runs entirely in your browser — no account is required and no files are uploaded to our servers.

GridPapers is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising via Google AdSense and voluntary donations via Ko-fi.

3. Permitted Use

You are free to use GridPapers and the templates you create with it for any personal or commercial purpose, including:

• Creating note-taking templates for personal use in apps like GoodNotes or Notability
• Printing templates for home, school, or office use
• Including downloaded templates in commercial digital products (planners, workbooks, etc.)
• Sharing templates you have created with others

The grid templates you download are yours to use freely. GridPapers does not claim any ownership over the files you generate and download.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use GridPapers in any way that:

• Attempts to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its hosting infrastructure
• Uses automated tools to scrape, crawl, or make bulk requests to the site beyond normal browsing
• Attempts to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the GridPapers application code itself without permission
• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Impersonates GridPapers or misrepresents an affiliation with GridPapers

5. Intellectual Property

The GridPapers website, including its design, code, written content, and guides, is owned by GridPapers and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the site's code or content without written permission.

The grid templates and files you generate using GridPapers are not subject to this restriction — those outputs belong to you.

6. Advertising

GridPapers displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are provided by Google and are subject to Google's advertising policies. GridPapers does not control the specific ads displayed and is not responsible for their content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

GridPapers is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridPapers and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data or profits.

GridPapers may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Ko-fi and Google). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing those sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
